~ simple pages, sincere heart.

Hello! I’m Amber, and this is all about my journey to bookbinding.

My journey to bookbinding began with my love for journaling and personal quiet time with the Lord. What started with store-bought journals gradually became a desire to create custom journal and Bible study pages designed with greater purpose and intention. I often found myself sketching layouts and ideas in blank lined journals, only to set them aside when they no longer supported what I felt I needed. Over time, I realized I was looking for something more thoughtful - pages created specifically for prayer, study, reflection, and creativity.

Thus, the Everyday with Him book was born. The all-in-one (I call those my “Big Books”) book, convenient for use at home, church, and Bible study—a cozy, inviting companion to The Bible. I’m thrilled to now be able to share it with you!

God’s Word

God’s Word, salvation in Christ, and walking with Him each day mean everything to me. I am deeply grateful for the craft of bookbinding and for the inspiration I find in God and His Word. Bible study is more than gaining knowledge; it is a way to know the Lord more deeply, grow in faith, and be shaped by the truth of the Gospel.

My “big books” are filled with a variety of templates I’ve designed and chosen for you to give you some options as you spend time with The Lord and at Church. Click here for a PDF preview of the pages you will receive. My other books are branched out from these books as stand-alone subjects if you prefer to keep them separate.

Stay tuned as I continue to branch these out for you all! … and some for the fellas, too!

As you read, write, pray, and reflect on Scripture, I pray you are reminded of God’s love, the completed work of Christ, and the hope found in His saving grace daily. Each handmade book is a quiet invitation to slow down, open God’s Word, meet Him with an attentive heart, and/or simply find rest in Him through creativity. May these books become a treasured space where you can hold Scripture close and respond to the Good News of Jesus in everyday life.

Learning the Craft

I began binding my custom pages together using spiral and comb binding before moving into hand-sewn books, including pamphlet-stitch booklets, hardcovers, and fabric-covered hardcovers. Video tutorials on YouTube and books on bookbinding have been great resources to my growth. I have learned tremendously by my mistakes as bookbinding can be quite frustrating and confusing, but immensely exciting at the same time. Along the way, I also developed a deep appreciation for the materials and creative details that make bookbinding so meaningful - paper, (specifically Chiyogami, Lokta, and Mulberry paper!) book cloth, embroidery, and other handcrafted elements and stationery. Each new skill has strengthened both my creativity and love for the craft. Bookbinding has become such a wonderful, safe space for me to find rest and joy in The Lord.

My pages

My personal style has always been very minimal featuring warm, earthy, and muted palettes. My page designs are therefore simple, yet they come from a genuine desire to spend meaningful time with the Lord every day and through every season. When I shared my Everyday with Him concept with others some loved the all-in-one approach, while others preferred to keep their subjects separate. You will find that I create other books featuring specific templates, such as church notes and prayer journals, branching out from my “big books.” I have also grown to love creating miscellaneous books like sketch books and photo albums!

Be on the lookout: You will find my favorite flower integrated one way or another, in all of my books - daisies!

I pray my pages would serve as a canvas for your specific, unique journey God has for you as you seek Him daily.

My Prayer for You

My prayer is that these books help you grow in confidence to draw near to God daily, to know Him and become more like Him through His Word in any and every season—to encourage your own creativity, bringing joy to you and God as you love and serve Him.

Thank you for supporting my small, handcrafted business.

All glory to God.
